In honor of Month of the Military Child, Hunt Military Communities (HMC) and its non-profit organization, Hunt Heroes Foundation, announced the winners of this year's “Hunt Little Heroes” program. Four dependent children of military service members were recognized for making a difference within their communities.
U.S. Army base of Fort Polk, Louisiana has experienced two hurricanes, a tropical storm, and an ice storm over the past few months, devastating thousands of homes belonging to service members and families. Corvias Property Management, which operates and maintains housing on Fort Polk, has worked tirelessly to rebuild this community and successfully responded to more than 1,800 emergency calls in the immediate aftermath of the hurricanes.
The 7-year maintenance history provides unprecedented transparency to service members when deciding where to live as they transfer to a new duty station. MHA member companies have been working with the Department of Defense and respective service branch partners to develop and roll out an easy-to-understand 7-year maintenance history of a home.
