Welcome to the Military Housing Association’s Careers Page

Military housing team members play an important role in supporting our military service members and their families. Military Housing Association (MHA) member companies employ over one thousand military veterans, military spouses, and family members of active-duty military personnel and veterans at installations across the country.

Frequent Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders can make it challenging for spouses and dependent family members to find and develop rewarding careers. The MHA is committed to providing resources to assist members of the military community with their career search. Our military housing providers are dedicated to developing team member leadership skills and providing opportunities for upward mobility.

When you start your career with a MHA member company, you will have the opportunity to thrive in a military friendly environment where you can make a difference and create a positive impact on the lives of military families.

Property management team members assist in managing the day-to-day operations of a multi-family residential community, with a strong military culture. Responsibilities include resident relations, customer service follow-up, supervision of on-site personnel, and various administration activities to ensure residents receive first-class service. These team members meet frequently with installation commands and are engaged with local community resources.
Leasing professionals manage all aspects of the leasing process, including providing tours of homes and the community, processing applications, and assisting with the move-in process.
Customer Service team members assist residents with the day-to-day requests, including managing service requests and in-person, phone, and email inquiries. They are also responsible for scheduling the work of vendors and contractors and assisting residents who are moving in and out of their homes.

Maintenance supervisors and technicians are responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of homes and the community. They ensure resident service requests, including those completed by vendors, are handled appropriately and that work is performed to the highest service standards.

Accounting team members are responsible for the financial reporting process for a portfolio of properties. They work closely with property management teams to prepare and review financial statements, assist in monthly and annual budget processes, and perform other important accounting functions.

Marketing professionals develop and implement marketing programs around leasing, advertising, client communication, and community events. They execute creative strategies and campaigns using online advertising, social media, company websites, email marketing and other techniques to inform military families about the benefits of living in privatized military communities.
