Military Housing Privatization Initiative (MHPI) providers continue to deliver housing improvements for service members and their families. As part of this effort, Corvias recently completed energy conservation improvements to approximately 5,300 homes at Fort Bragg, North Carolina as part of their $325 million Solutions Investment across six military installations.
These modifications, which include the installation of thousands of efficient HVAC split systems, weatherization additions, “smart” thermostats, and more, will reduce energy consumption and continue to improve the living experience for military families.
“The investment in these energy conservation improvements increases the efficiency of the systems for our residents and reduces pollution by cutting energy use,” said Peter Sims, managing director for Corvias. “The overall savings will be used to further improve the Fort Bragg community as part of our long-term reinvestment effort.”
Corvias’ Solutions Investment also includes major renovations such as updated bathrooms and kitchens, open-concept floor plans, roofing and flooring improvements, and more. Corvias anticipates completing the project by mid-2022.
