Fort Riley garrison commander Col. Will McKannay held a roundtable to discuss recent accomplishments at the installation and provide information on future initiatives, like investments being made to privatized military family housing communities.

Col. McKannay highlighted Corvias Military Living’s $60 million investment in upgrades and renovations to 4,000 housing units, saying “these types of innovations will greatly improve the quality of life for many of the Soldiers and families living on post.”

Corvias recently renovated 32 homes in the Rimrock neighborhood and began construction on nearly 100 homes in the Warner Peterson neighborhood.

Col. McKannay also encouraged Fort Riley residents to participate in the ongoing Department of Defense tenant satisfaction survey, which provides vital information on customer service, home quality, maintenance, and community amenities at the local level.
